Lady Fernanda Mina Lastra (born 1987 in Guayaquil, Guayas, Ecuador) is a beauty pageant title holder who won the Miss Ecuador 2010.[1]

Miss Ecuador 2010

Lady Mina, from Guayaquil, was a student of Journalism in the University of Guayaquil during the time of the competition. She is also the third Afro-Ecuadorian woman to be crowned Miss Ecuador.[2] Miss Ecuador 2010 was broadcast live from CEMEXPO, in Quito. During the event Mina received high scores from the judges in the areas of competition,[3] although Ana Galarza, of Tungurahua and Andrea Suárez of Loja, were the favorites to win the crown. Mina also received the highest scores during the Swimsuit and Evening Gown Competition.[4] Mina won because of the final question.[5]

Miss Universe 2010

As the winner of the Miss Ecuador 2010 title, Lady Mina represented Ecuador in the Miss Universe 2010 pageant on August 23, 2010, where she did not place in the top 15.

Miss Continente Americano 2010

As the winner of the Miss Ecuador 2010 title, Lady Mina represented Ecuador in the Miss Continente Americano 2010 pageant on September 18, 2010 in Guayaquil, Ecuador, but unplaced.

Miss Reina Hispanoamericana 2010

As the winner of the Miss Ecuador 2010 title, Lady Mina represented Ecuador in Reina Hispanoamericana 2010 pageant held on November 24, 2010 in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. She won Best National Costume Award.[6]
