It is a member of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series. Lake Erie Speedway runs five race divisions including: Plyler Overhead Door Modifieds, Street Stocks, Compacts, Legends, and Bandoleros. Lake Erie Speedway special events include TQ Midgets, Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam featuring Grave Digger, MidSummer Music Fest, Must See Racing Super Modifieds, Crash-A-Rama, and USAC Midget Series. The track formerly hosted the ARCA RE/MAX Series and the NASCAR Busch East/North Series. In 2013, the track hosted the Legends Asphalt National Race on September 12-15.
