Lakshmibai College
Lakshmibai College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi that provides higher education to women only. It was established in 1965 and named in honour of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi, the fearless warrior and patriot. The college is run by the Government of Delhi, and is located in the neighborhood of Ashok Vihar.[1]
It has multiple departments, including Bengali, Commerce, Economics, English, Food Technology, Hindi, History, Mathematics, Music, Philosophy, Physical Education, Political Science, Punjabi, Sanskrit, and Sociology. It offers courses in the Humanities, Social Science and Commerce at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In addition to the three-year-long BA and BCom (Hons) courses. Undergraduate students can also enroll in a BA (Pass) and BCom (Pass) courses. Masters in Arts are offered with specializations in Philosophy, Political Science and Sanskrit.

The college has a library with a reading room. A college magazine is released annually, and students can contribute write-ups to the same in Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Bengali and Punjabi.
The college also provides NCC(National Cadet Corp) to the students.Thus making it a bit easier for the students who want to be in any such field.
