Landex

Landex is the UK membership association for agricultural colleges and other land-based educational institutions. The name is derived from Land Based Colleges Aspiring to Excellence. It originated in 2006, (as a reconstitution of NAPAEO, the then National Association of Principal Agricultural Education Officers) and has a membership of over 30 specialist FE Colleges in England and 5 specialist Higher Education Institutes.[1][2] Landex is thus a close UK-focused equivalent to the USA-focused National Association of State Universities and Land-Grant Colleges.

Landex is a member-funded company that represents the interests of its member colleges, seeking to enhance the collective quality of service and provision to learners and land-based industries, through benchmarking, peer review, self-regulation, and continuous professional development.

Member colleges

Other associated colleges include Abingdon and Witney College in England; Barony College and Oatridge College in Scotland; Bridgend College, Coleg Gwent and Coleg Sir Gar in Wales; College of Agriculture, Food & Rural Enterprise (CAFRE) in Northern Ireland.
