Lanza is a station on the Line 2 of Milan Metro. The station was opened in 1978.
The station is located in Via Giovanni Lanza, within the core area of the city centre of Milan, in the vicinity of the Sforzesco Castle. The station allows to reach the Brera district, the Piccolo Teatro di Milano, the Parco Sempione and the city aquarium.
This is an underground station. It is the only station in the center to have an input on the front surface of a building. Is also the only stop on the green line to have the docks parallel to the same level but in two different rods without the use of the dock to island. Looking then on signs indicating the distance from the stops in the tunnel, you notice that the distance between Moscova and Lanza stations is 550 meters.
