This is a list of the fifty largest cities in the Americas by population residing within city limits. These figures do not reflect the population of the urban agglomeration or metropolitan area which typically do not coincide with the administrative boundaries of the city. Figures are taken from the latest available census results, official estimates, or official projections as of 2015, and refer to mid-year populations unless otherwise specified.
