L. poeppigii

The cinnamon red bat (Lasiurus varius) is a species of bat from the family Vespertilionidae. It is often listed as a synonym of the eastern red bat or the desert red bat, but is distinct.[2]

Distribution and conservation

The cinnamon red bat lives in southern Argentina and Chile.[1] There is no information about its population, but due to its large distribution it is presumed to have a large population and is therefore considered Least Concern.[1]
