Last Chance (formerly, Clifton and Caroline Diggings)[2] is an unincorporated community in Placer County, California.[1] Last Chance is located 7.5 miles (12.1 km) northeast of Michigan Bluff.[2] It lies at an elevation of 4564 feet (1391 m).[1]
Last Chance was named by miners.[3] The Last Chance post office operated from 1865 to 1869 and from 1909 to 1919.[2]
