Leamside is a small village close to the city of Durham, County Durham, in England. It is situated to the west of West Rainton. It is part of the civil parish of West Rainton.
The village gives its name to the Leamside Line, the old main line running up the east coast, which was largely mothballed in the 1990s. Although there have been aspirations to re-open the line to aid economic regeneration, there are currently proposals to lift the track on the line.
