Legz Diamond & The Purple Gang is a group composed of Psychopathic Records' artists Legz Diamond and Jumpsteady and Violent J's wife Sugar Slam.
Background
In late 2012 after the recording of Insane Clown Posse's 12th studio album The Mighty Death Pop!, and the return of Jumpsteady, Psychopathic signed Legz Diamond, and he, Jumpsteady, and Sugar Slam formed the group Legz Diamond & The Purple Gang. The quickly wrote and recorded their debut album 9 Pistolas which was released on March 19, 2013. The album features Bushwick Bill & Cold 187um. Legz Diamond & The Purple Gang debut at the 2013 GOTJ. There was a Hatchet Herald dedicated to introducing Legz Diamond on February 4, 2013.[1] In a recent interview, Legz Diamond said that he is currently working on a song that could be a lead off single for the new project they are working on. He projects that their new cd should be out sometime in 2015. Legz Diamond will not be performing at the 2014 GOTJ due to personal problems, but should be back working at the studio before too long, according to Jumpsteady in a July 6, 2014 interview with faygoluvers.net.
