Leland Grove is a city in Sangamon County, Illinois adjacent to Springfield. It is part of the Springfield Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 1,503 at the 2010 census.

As of the census[5] of 2010, there were 1,503 people, 677 households, and 442 families residing in the city. The population density was 2,385.7 people per square mile (922.1/km²). There were 677 housing units at an average density of 1,074.6 per square mile (415.3/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 95.68% White, 0.86% African American, 0.07% Native American, 1.46% Asian, 0.53% from other races, and 1.33% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.80% of the population.
There were 677 households out of which 21.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.6% were married couples living together, 5.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 34.7% were non-families. 30.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.21 and the average family size was 2.75.
In the city the population was spread out with 20.1% under the age of 20, 3.3% from 20 to 24, 18.6% from 25 to 44, 36.2% from 45 to 64, and 21.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 51 years. For every 100 females there were 89.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 87.2 males.
The median income for a household in the city was $75,437, and the median income for a family was $92,245. Males had a median income of $62,308 versus $45,673 for females. The per capita income for the city was $51,714. It has the highest per-capita income of any city outside the Chicago metropolitan area. None of the families and 2.7% of the population were living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and 5.0% of those over 64.
