Lipowiec [liˈpɔvjɛt͡s] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Tereszpol, within Biłgoraj County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-west of Tereszpol, 12 km (7 mi) north-east of Biłgoraj, and 73 km (45 mi) south of the regional capital Lublin.

The village has a population of 570.
