The Australian Consul-General in Makassar represents the Australian Government in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia.
The Consulate-General provides consular, notarial and passport services in Makassar. It was opened in 2016 in an effort to deepen Australia's business, education and cultural links with the provinces of eastern Indonesia.[1][2] The Australian Government considers Makassar the closest major Indonesia city to Australia.[3]
