List of England Test matches

The England cricket team represents England and Wales in Test cricket. It is the joint-oldest Test playing nation, along with Australia, England's opposition in the first Test match, which took place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in March 1877.[1] In all as of August 2015, England have played 962 Test matches, recording 344 victories, 279 losses and 339 draws.
