List of Test cricket matches

Test cricket is the longest form of cricket, which is the heart of cricket. The match played between two teams with full Test status which the team should be a full member, in which each team plays a match for five continuous days. Usually there are ninety overs per side in a single day, but sometimes full overs cannot play due to light conditions and heavy rainfall. Each team has two innings per match. Before long years that limited overs cricket come in to play, Test cricket was the only form of cricket and the most popular sport in the Europe.[1] Red ball is used in the day matches and pink ball in day and night matches. Players wear white kits and jerseys in Test match cricket. Decision reviewed system was come in to play in late 2007s and the games after that ended mostly with a result, neither a draw nor no result.

The first officially recognised Test match began on 15 March 1877, between England and Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), where Australia won by 45 runs.[2] A Test match to celebrate 100 years of Test cricket was held in Melbourne from 12 to 17 March 1977, in which Australia beat England by 45 runs—the same margin as that first Test.[3] Usually the Test matches are playing as day games until recent past. In October 2012, the International Cricket Council recast the playing conditions for Test matches, permitting day/night Test matches.[4] The first day/night game took place between Australia and New Zealand at the Adelaide Oval, Adelaide on 27 November 2015.[5]

Since the first ODI match in 1877, there were 2150+ matches held among the 10 full Test nations. The following article brings the all Test matches to held up to date with easy summarizing.[6]
