List of lieutenant governors of Alabama
This is a list of lieutenant governors of the U.S. state of Alabama, 1868 to present. In Alabama, the Lieutenant Governor and the Governor do not run together on the same ticket. The Lieutenant Governor can therefore be affiliated with a different political party than that of the Governor. Under the Alabama Constitution, the Lieutenant Governor is the President and Presiding Officer of the Alabama Senate and the Lieutenant Governor, like other statewide officeholders in Alabama are sworn-in on the third Monday every four years. The current Lieutenant Governor is Kay Ivey.

As of August 2014, there are eight former U.S. lieutenant governors of Alabama who are currently living at this time. The oldest U.S. lieutenant governor of Alabama being Albert Brewer (served 1967–1968, born 1928). The most recent death of a former U.S. lieutenant governor of Alabama was that of William G. Hardwick (served 1955–1959, born 1910), on January 15, 1993. The most recently serving U.S. lieutenant governor of Alabama to die was James Allen (served 1963–1967, born 1912), on June 1, 1978.
