This table shows the principal paved road passes on or near the crest of the Sierra Nevada, California, United States. The road passes are listed from north to south, with their elevation and access road.

No roads cross the Sierra Crest for 137 miles (220 km) between Minaret Summit and Ninemile Canyon.

Portions of most roads passing through elevations of about 7,000 feet (2,100 m) are usually closed during winter, with opening and closure dates varying based on snowfall and available road clearing and repair resources. However, the California Department of Transportation attempts to keep I-80, US 50 and CA 88 open year-round.
