The following Syrian pilots became flying aces by scoring five or more confirmed aerial victories while flying combat against the Israeli Air Force.
- Colonel Fayez Mansour - 14 victories and 1 victory against the RAF (MiG-17F from 1953 to 1970 and MiG-21FL from 1970 to his death (1982)) - from Homs
- Lieutenant-Colonel Bassam Hamshu - 7 victories and 1 ground kill (MiG-21MF) - from Ariha, Idlib Governorate.
- Major Adeeb Al-Jarf - 7 victories (MiG-21FL) - from Hajin, Deir ez-Zor Governorate
- Brigadier Majad Halabi - 6 victories (MiG-21FL)[1] - from Aleppo city
- Captain Dzhur Abid Adib - 5 victories (MiG-21FL)[2] - from Dreikish, Tartous Governorate
- Captain Muhammad Mansour - 5 victories (MiG-21MF)[3] - from Tafas, Daraa Governorate
