The following tables provided the complete summary of Twenty20 Internationals held from the year (2005–09). The first ever Twenty20 International was played between Australia and New Zealand on 17 February 2005 at Eden Park, Auckland, New Zealand. The Australian team was led by Ricky Ponting and New Zealand team by Stephen Fleming. Australia won by 44 runs and became the first winners of a Twenty20 International match.
