The Uncharted series began with a trilogy of video games on PlayStation 3.

Uncharted is an action-adventure third-person shooter video game series developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The series debuted in North America on November 19, 2007 with Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and has since since sold over 21 million units worldwide as of June 2015.[1][2] The games follow the story of treasure hunters Nathan "Nate" Drake and Victor "Sully" Sullivan, journalist Elena Fisher and various secondary characters who travel around the world to uncover various historical mysteries. The Uncharted games have been exclusively released on the PlayStation family of consoles since the series debuted with Drake's Fortune on PlayStation 3, with later titles seeing releases on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Numerous related dramatizations and printed media have also been released.
