These are the Billboard adult contemporary chart number-one hits of 1962. The chart was known as the Easy Listening chart until November 3 of that year, when it was renamed Middle-Road Singles. Beginning in January 1962, Billboard began referring to its charts according to the week ending date; therefore, the charts dated January 6, 1962, immediately followed those dated December 25, 1961.
