Northern Belle  United States
Northern Belle.

The passenger ship, a barque, was driven ashore at Foreness Point, Kent, United Kingdom. Her crew were rescued by Culmer White, Mary White and Ocean (all  United Kingdom).

Victry  United Kingdom The lugger foundered with the loss of all nine crew whilst going to the assistance of Northern Belle ( United States).[1]
Boadicea  United Kingdom The barque mistook the Les Casquets (west of Alderney Channel islands) for the Scillies. She was driven onto Tautenay rock in the Little Russel. The brig ‘Diolinda’ raised the alarm and steam tug ‘Watt’, H.M. Revenue Cutter ‘Eagle’ and Pilot boat ‘Blonde’ between them saved 6 of 15 crew.[2]

Cheverell  United Kingdom The barque ran aground off Minsmere, Suffolk and was wreked. Her crew were rescued.[3]

Juanita  Spain The schooner foundered in the Bristol Channel off Swansea, Glamorgan, United Kingdom. She was on a voyage from Swansea to Seville.[4]

Trevaunce  United Kingdom The schooner foundered off Porthcawl, Glamorgan with the loss of one of her four crew.[4]

Sobraon  United Kingdom The ship sprang a leak and sank in 18°S 28°W, about 600nm SE of Salvador, Bahia. All crew of 13 saved.[5]

Dunbar  United Kingdom The ship was driven ashore and wrecked near Sydney, New South Wales with the loss of all but one of those on board. She was on a voyage from London] to Sydney.

Central America.
The paddle steamer sprang a leak during a hurricane. She foundered in the Atlantic Ocean with the loss of 425 of the 631 people on board. Survivors were rescued by Ellen ( Norway) and Marine ( United States).

The Imperatritsa Aleksandra-class ship of the line and sank in the Baltic Sea off Hogland during a squall. All 826 people on board were killed.

Ship Country Description
Wallace  United Kingdom The full-rigged ship capsized in the Atlantic Ocean approximately 800 miles (1,300 km) from Cape Clear after being struck by a large wave. Survivors were rescued on 17 December by the Colina (United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland New Brunswick).[6]
