List of world records in Olympic weightlifting

Pictogram.

This is the list of world records in Olympic weightlifting. Records are maintained in each weight class for the snatch lift, clean and jerk lift, and the total for both lifts.

The International Weightlifting Federation restructured its weight classes in 1993 and 1998, nullifying earlier records.
