Ljubija is a settlement in the Mozirje municipality in northern Slovenia. It lies on the left bank of the river Savinja to the east of Mozirje itself. Traditionally the area was part of the Styria region. The municipality is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region.[2]
The local church is dedicated to Saint Nicholas and belongs to the Mozirje parish. It is first mentioned in written documents dating to 1241. It was extended in 1582 and again in the 19th century.[3]
