Nykøbing FC is a Danish football club from Nykøbing Falster on Falster. The club was founded as Nykøbing Falster Alliancen (NFA), a merger between clubs B 1901 and B 1921. The club was known as Lolland Falster Alliancen between 2006 and 2013. On June 18, 2006, their defeat to Lyngby Boldklub in the last game of the season clinched their relegation to the Danish 2nd Division East, after having spent 3 years in the next best league. However, they spent just one season in this league, and were promoted back to the first division after beating Kjøbenhavns Boldklub 5–0 on June 3, 2007.
