Longview is an unincorporated community located in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi. Longview is approximately 7 miles (11 km) southwest of Starkville and approximately 8 miles (13 km) northeast of Sturgis.
Longview was formerly incorporated from 1902-1939. It was known as the 'Crosstie Center of the World.'
The Longview Opry is located in an old schoolhouse within the Longview community.
