Lothian is an unincorporated community in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States.,[1] 12 miles southwest of Annapolis, Maryland, 24 miles east of Washington, DC, and 31 miles south of Baltimore, Maryland. As of the 2010 Census, the population was 6,643 people.
Public Schools: Lothian Elementary, Southern Middle, and Southern Senior.
Members of Congress: U.S. Senators Barbara Mikulski and Ben Cardin; U.S. Representative Steny Hoyer (D-Md.-5th District).
