Lower Beechmont is a small outer locality of City of Gold Coast in South East Queensland, Australia.[2] It is situated in the Gold Coast hinterland.

History

Beechmont Lower State School opened in 1967.[3]

Demographics

In the 2011 census, Lower Beechmont recorded a population of 1,003 people, 49.4% female and 50.6% male.[1] The median age of the Lower Beechmont population was 39 years, 2 years above the national median of 37.[1] 68.2% of people living in Lower Beechmont were born in Australia.
