Luís de Alpoim (13th Century) was a medieval knight, ambassador in England, France and Germany.[1]
Biography
Luís was born in Portugal, the son of Gomes de Alpoim, knight of Afonso IV of Portugal. His wife was Dominga Cabral daughter of João de Sella Cabral, lord of Pinhel.[2]
Alpoim was a possible descendant of Martim de Freitas Alcaide of Coimbra.[3] His descendants included Jose de Alpoim, fidalgo of the royal house.[4] And Minister of Justice of José Luciano de Castro.[5]
