Mândra Solar Park is a large thin-film photovoltaic (PV) power system, currently under construction on a 84 hectares (210 acres) plot of land near the Mândra commune, Braşov County in Romania. The solar park will be a 38-megawatt solar power system using 160,000 state-of-the-art thin film solar pannels, and should be finished by the end of 2014.[1] The solar park is expected to supply 50 GWh of electricity per year.[1]
The investment cost for the Mândra solar park amounts to some €50 million.[1]
