KTT (Chinese: 九廣通)[1]) is a train set used by the MTR Corporation Limited in Hong Kong on the cross-boundary service to Guangdong route. The KTT is not the only service from Hong Kong to China, Guangdong service is also provided by the mainland Chinese railway operators.[2]
The double-deck "KTT" trailers have lower bottom floor than the ordinary cars serving on the same pair of tracks.
Route
KTT is used on the Guangdong Line (Hung Hom (Kowloon), Hong Kong - Dongguan - Guangzhou East) of the through train service.

Although the train model has a top speed of 230 km/h (143 mph), KTT only runs at a maximum speed of 160 km/h (99 mph). Under normal demand, KTT has nine compartments (seven first-class compartments and two executive-class compartments).
