Maeve McLaughlin is a Sinn Féin politician who currently sat in the Northern Ireland Assembly for Foyle until 2016. She was chosen to replace Martina Anderson, and took office in June 2012.[2]
She previously sat on Derry City Council, having been elected in 2001. McLaughlin is a keen community activist. She is a BA honours graduate in Sociology, History and Politics.[3]
