Mahdiism is the concept of awaiting a savior in Islam. Muslims believe that Imam Mahdi along with prophet Jesus will return at the end of time. Imam Mahdi is the awaited savior in Islam. Muslims also believe that Jesus is a messiah and will return along with Imam Mahdi.
