Parliamentary elections were held in Madagascar on 8 August 1965. They were won by the Social Democratic Party, which claimed 104 of the 107 seats (reduced from 127) in the National Assembly.
Voter turnout was 94.43% of the 2,610,930 registered voters.[1]
