Malaysian order of precedence

The Malaysian order of precedence is a nominal and symbolic hierarchy of important positions within the Government of Malaysia. It has a legal standing and can be used to dictate ceremonial protocol.

The Malaysian Prime Minister's Department issued a twentieth Order of Precedence[1][2] for Malaysia on 22 January 1998 through the Malaysian Government Gazette.

The order was gazetted on 22 January 1998, but is revised from time-to-time.

Position 1–10
