Malik Jalal
Malik Jalal is a tribal elder from Waziristan, Pakistan. He is an intermediary in settling local disputes and a senior member of the North Waziristan peace committee (NWPC).[1][2][3] The aim of the NWPC is to establish peace between the Taliban and the Government of Pakistan.[4]
He is further notable for speaking out against U.S. drone strikes in Pakistan. He has been invited to the UK by Lord Ken Macdonald to address parliament about being on a drone kill list.[4][5][6]
