Manuel Sánchez López (born 13 April 1988), known as Manolín or simply Manuel, is a Spanish footballer who plays for CA Osasuna. Mainly a defensive midfielder, he can also play as a central defender.

Club career

Born in Córdoba, Andalusia, Manuel graduated with Córdoba CF's youth setup, but made his debuts as a senior with Écija Balompié in 2007, in Segunda División B.[1] On 2 August 2009 he moved to Polideportivo Ejido, also in the third level.[2]

On 31 August 2010 Manuel returned to the Verdiblancos, being assigned to the reserves in Tercera División.[3] In the 2011 summer he moved back to the third tier, signing for CF La Unión.[4]

Manuel remained in the third division in the following years, representing CD Guijuelo,[5] La Hoya Lorca CF[6] and SD Huesca.[7] With the latter he appeared in 38 matches and scored two goals during the season, as his side returned to Segunda División after a two-year absence.

Manuel made his professional debut on 22 August 2015, playing the full 90 minutes in a 2–3 home loss against Deportivo Alavés.[8] On 10 January of the following year, after rescinding his link, he moved to CA Osasuna also in the second level.[9]
