Marcel Sabitzer (born 17 March 1994) is an Austrian footballer who plays for RB Leipzig.

He is a son of former Austria international Herfried Sabitzer.

Club career

On 30 May 2014, he signed a four-year contract with RB Leipzig, and was loaned for a season to FC Red Bull Salzburg.^[1] On 1 April 2016, Sabitzer extended his contract until 2021.^[2]

International career

Sabitzer made his debut for Austria on 5 June 2012, in a goalless draw against Romania.
