Marist Comprehensive Academy, Uturu, Okigwe, Nigeria
Marist Comprehensive Academy (MCA) is a Co-Educational secondary institution in the Abia State of southeastern Nigeria. The school was built by the Marist Brothers of Nigeria. MCA's scholarship is distinguished especially in the Southeastern and South-South region due to its focus on strict discipline. The school is run by the Marist Brothers congregation and includes in its curriculum moral and religious instruction. The school is known for having been a place of shelter in eastern Nigeria during the Nigerian Civil War regardless of ethnicity. This place of shelter was later named HopeVille and is now called Hopeville Today.
