Mark Whiley (born 1 December 1992) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Carlton Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).
Originally from Finley in the Riverina region of New South Wales, he played for the Murray Bushrangers in the TAC Cup prior to being recruited prior to the 2010 AFL Draft as one of the new GWS club's NSW zone selections.[1] Whiley made his AFL debut in Round 12 of the 2012 AFL season against Richmond, as a late replacement for Nick Haynes.[2]
On 15 October 2014 Whiley and teammate Kristian Jaksch were traded to the Carlton Football Club.[3]
Carlton Career
Whiley made his Carlton debut against Collingwood in Mick Malthouses record breaking game of most games coached in Round 5, 2015. Whiley was given the task of tagging Scott Pendlebury.
