Career

Sloga Kraljevo

2010–11

Born in Kraljevo, Gobeljić is a product of Sloga Kraljevo youth school. He started playing with first team as a youngester in season 2010–11. In debut season he played on 27 league caps and 1 Lav Cup Serbia match. That was a home match against Red Star Belgrade played in front of a full Kraljevo City Stadium on 22 September 2010. He was one of players who was in starting eleven on that match.[4] He played a solid match, as an other players and played an equally until the end of match, but in finish prevailed an experience of Red-whites.[5] Should be noted his appearances in match in Lav Cup zero fixture, a match before against match Red Star Belgrade when Sloga made a home win with result 2:1 versus Radnički Niš on 1 September 2010 and qualified for match with Red Star Belgrade.[6] He also played on some league cup matches.[7] At the biginning of his senior career he wore number 11 on his jersey and played on midfield position, but later he changed his squad number with Marko Memedović and took number 7. He also wore number 2, while he played as right-back.[8] After that season Sloga promoted in Serbian First League.[9]

2011–12

In next season he entered 1 year older and with more experience. He gained his First League experience often playing in first squad, and ended with 31 league appearance and 3 goals. The most caps he played on central midfield position, but he played as right-back in some matches. On a home match against Čukarički when Sloga lost with result 1:2, he played on stopper place, after Boban Dmitrović was substituted out on a half-time.[10] Previously he scored a goal on that match. He scored 2 goals more against Proleter home and Mladenovac on away match.

2012–13

Gobeljić spent most caps played as central midfielder, but coach Neško Milovanović moved him on right-back before the end of season. He was the most standard player that season. He made 32 First League appearances[11] and played one Lav Cup away match versus OFK Beograd on Omladinski Stadium, when Sloga lost with result 5:0.[12][13] He didn't score a goal but he was a man of the match one time.

2013–14

In first fixture he maybe played the worst game in season. But later his games became better and contribution to team more significant. After some mistekes in first round,[14] the first team captain Aleksandar Božović dropped into the background, and more experienced Bojan Šejić replaced him on goal, Gobeljić got an armband as a vice-captain ahead of a little older Miloš Janićijević and Nemanja Miletić.[15] He was doing that very successful, making 26 appearances, the most as a captain, because Božović returned on goal after Šejić's departure 4 rounds before the end of season and took and armband again. Gobeljić played all 15 matches in first half of season and was the best marked played in league, without the mark under 7 in all matches. He has also a very significant role in Lav Cup match against Vojvodina scoring a goal for draw, and beating Žakula in penalty series. Although Sloga dropped after penalties,[16] the captain of Sloga on that match played on 25 September 2013, was man of the match, and marked with 8 as a his colleague of the otherside Miroslav Vulićević.[17] Gobeljić changed some positions in team, as a universal player, he played what was need in that time. His original position is a central midfielder, but he played as right-back because his speed and explosive power, in some occasions he can play as centre-back, but he is useful in offensive. Because of his lucidity in game and number 7 on his back, teammates and supporters called him "MG7", alluding to Cristiano Ronaldo (CR7). They don't play on the same positions in team, but that comparison is more based on his lider and motoric abilities. He has a grate contribution for all 7 home wins in first half of season. Continuing of competition, he started with lower form, but after first round it was all right. During the spring part of championship he made 11 appearances. He was injured 2 times, on home matches. First time on home win with result 4:1 against BSK Borča on 15 March 2014[18] and second on doubtful home lost with result 1:2 against Dolina Padina on 30 April 2014[19] when he scored a goal for 1:1 and then he injured. After both matches, he made 1 match break. Once time he was suspended because of yellow cards, and also missed the last fixture versus Proleter in Novi Sad. The match versus Borac he started from the bench, replacing Siniša Mladenović on the right-back position and immediately made a difference in game, but Borac kept the goal scored in 7 minute of match and crashed SuperLiga dreams of Kraljevo people.[20] Gobeljić ended season with high average rating 7.20 making 26 First League and 1 Cup appearance and scored 4 goals.[1]

Napredak Kruševac

2014–15

He signed with Napredak in July 2014,[21] and took number 77 on his jersey. He made his professional debut for Napredak and his Jelen SuperLiga debut on home lost versus Čukarički on 9 August 2014 when he replaced Ibrahima Mame N'Diaye at the beginning of second half.[22] After second fixture, when he started match from the bench too, he has provide himself in starting 11 since next round. He also played cup match versus Metalac Gornji Milanovac, when Napredak lost after penalties.[23] Gobeljić assist to Bojan Božović for goal in first win of Napredak on 20 October 2014 against Radnički Niš.[24] Former captain of Sloga Kraljevo,[25] was one of the best in the first half of season.[26] Gobeljić missed game against OFK Beograd in 18 fixture because of yellow card suspension.[27] In a match against Mladost Lučani he also was one of better on the pitch, he was marked by some players, he helped in defence, too. He blocked one shoot,[28] but before Mladost scored a goal.[29] He was substituted out for the first time in a match against Red Star Belgrade in 20 fixture.[30] Gobeljić was sitting on the bench in a home lost against Jagodina.[31] In next fixture, against Vojvodina, he scored his first goal for Napredak. That also was a historical goal for the first Napredak's win against Vojvodina in Novi Sad.[32][33] In a match against Partizan, he had a solid role, as a right-back, he created some chances for his teammates, and he kicked on goal several times. He got the yellow card,[34] and suspension for the next match, against Donji Srem.[35] During the regular season, Gobeljić made 26 league and 1 cup appearance and scored 1 goal. Finally, he played both matches in play-off, against Metalac Gornji Milanovac, after which Napredak was relegated from the SuperLiga.[36][37]

2015–16

After he missed first fixture of Serbian First League because of yellow card suspension, Gobeljić returned in squad for a match against Proleter Novi Sad, and later played all matches until the end of first half season including 14 Serbian First League and 2 cup matches. He started season as a right-back, but after Igor Zonjić joined the club, he moved in midfield. During the season, he played on both positions. Gobeljić scored a goal in a match against ČSK Pivara, played on 19 March 2016.[38]
