Markowicze [markɔˈvit͡ʂɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Księżpol, within Biłgoraj County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland.^[1] It lies approximately 2 kilometres (1 mi) north of Księżpol, 13 km (8 mi) south of Biłgoraj, and 92 km (57 mi) south of the regional capital Lublin.

The village has a population of 258.
