Marzęcino [maʐɛnˈt͡ɕinɔ] (German Jungfer) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Nowy Dwór Gdański, within Nowy Dwór Gdański County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) east of Nowy Dwór Gdański and 42 km (26 mi) east of the regional capital Gdańsk.
Until 1773 belonged to Poland then the area was part of Prussia then Germany and Free City of Danzig. Following World War II the native German populace was expelled and replaced by Poles. For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
