Matthew C. Patrick (born April 1, 1952 in New Brunswick, New Jersey) was a Democratic politician who served as member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives. He represented the 3rd Barnstable District from 2001-2011. He lives in Falmouth, Massachusetts. He was unopposed for re-election in the 2006 elections, but was defeated by Falmouth Town Moderator David Vieira in 2010. He is running for the same State Representative seat in 2016.

Patrick was a Peace Corps volunteer in Ghana from 1977 to 1979.

In 2007 Representative Matt Patrick introduced two components to the Green Communities Act. The first raised the value if each kWh of renewable energy from wholesale to retail and the second introduced the concept of virtual net metering that eliminated the need for a direct connection to the renewable energy project. Both facilitated renewable energy projects state-wide. The Green Communities Act was signed into law by Governor Deval Patrick in 2008.
