Maundia is a genus in the family Juncaginaceae described as a genus in 1858.[2][3] It contains only one known species, Maundia triglochinoides, endemic to Australia (States of Queensland and New South Wales).[1]
Some authors have proposed removing Maundia from the Juncaginaceae and placing it in its own family, the Maundiaceae.[4]
The species is listed as vulnerable.[5]
