Mavazekhan-e Shomali Rural District (Persian: دهستان مواضع خان شمالي) is a rural district (dehestan) in Khvajeh District, Heris County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran.[1] At the 2006 census, its population was 5,918, in 1,297 families.[2] The rural district has 28 villages.
