McAvoy is an unincorporated community in Contra Costa County, California, United States.[1] It is located on the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad 4.25 miles (6.8 km) west of Pittsburg,[3] at an elevation of 20 feet (6 m).[1]
