Merone is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) north of Milan and about 13 kilometres (8 mi) southeast of Como. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,874 and an area of 3.2 km².[1]
