Midlands 1 East is an English Rugby Union League made up of clubs from the eastern region of the Midlands of England, with promoted sides usually entering National Division 3 - Midlands (formerly Midlands 1) - the champions going up automatically and the runner up playing a playoff against the second placed team from Midlands 1 West.
