Milltimber

Milltimber is a suburb to the west of Aberdeen, Scotland. It is situated approximately 8 miles inland of the North Sea, around 6 miles west of Aberdeen.

Along with the nearby settlements of Cults and Bieldside, it is home to some of the wealthiest residents of Aberdeen. Facilities in Milltimber are somewhat lacking with the nearest shop situated in neighbouring Bieldside. However it is home to a highly rated primary school, a Church and a community building which is used for private functions as well as boy scout and girl guide troops and similar. The Kippie Lodge Petroleum Club is a sports facility. It is also home to the playing fields of Albyn School (independent school, Aberdeen).

In 2009, according to zoopla, Milltimber (AB13) was the richest postcode in Scotland with an average house price of £422,760. [1]
